1. Introduction

Welcome to WaShop. These Terms of Service govern your use of the WaShop platform. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. WaShop is a software platform that enables sellers to create online storefronts for WhatsApp-based commerce.

2. Platform Role

  • Software Provider Only: WaShop provides the software infrastructure for you to create a catalog and receive orders via WhatsApp.
  • Not a Marketplace: We do not act as a marketplace, aggregator, or intermediary.
  • No Payments/Logistics: WaShop does not handle payments, shipping, or logistics. All transactions are directly between the buyer and the seller.

3. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller using WaShop, you are fully responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, and legality of the products you list.
  • Setting accurate pricing and product descriptions.
  • Fulfilling orders and delivering goods to your customers.
  • Handling refunds, returns, and customer disputes.
  • Complying with all applicable local laws and regulations.

4. Limitation of Liability

WaShop is not liable for any disputes, financial losses, or damages arising from transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not verify the authenticity of sellers or buyers. Users interact at their own risk.

5. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that use the platform for illegal activities, spam, abuse, or violation of these terms, without prior notice.

6. Meta & Instagram Integration

WaShop interacts with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram, WhatsApp) via official APIs. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

  • WaShop is an independent software provider and is not affiliated with Meta, Instagram, or WhatsApp.
  • You must comply with all applicable Meta Platform Policies, including the Instagram Community Guidelines and WhatsApp Business Policy.
  • We are not responsible for account suspensions or restrictions imposed by Meta due to your usage.

7. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.
